Hold your breath, Rogers has entered into the condo game.
The Rogers Real Estate Development company, which is privately held, announced plans to build a 10-condo-tower complex billed as “M City” in Mississauga, with the tallest tower measuring in at 51 storeys. As per Press Release, the $1.5-billion, 6,000-unit, six-hectare project will be built in downtown Mississauga, a short walk from the Civic Centre.
Exact Location of the project will be within the large plot of land at Burnhamthorpe Rd W and Confederation, edged to the west by Pinnacle International’s Grand Park and Grand Park 2 projects. 10 condominium master planned community, Stunning architecture with the Rogers Group pushing landmark designs in every tower, Architecture by CORE Architects and interiors by Cecconi Simone, Tallest condominium expected to be 51 storeys, Heavy emphasis on public spaces and parks throughout the new community, 15 acre re-development, 2 acres of brand new park land, 6,000 new residential suites (4.3 million sq.ft. of new residential space) across 10 condominiums.
About 3 years ago, Rogers Real Estate had submitted a plan proposing a project that was then named Garden City, which was changed once they filed for the trademark “M City” this July. The trademark included a logo and is related to real estate services. The earlier site-plan that had been submitted with the name Garden City included 5 new streets cutting through the community and still bounded by Burnhamthorpe Rd W to the north, Webb Dr to the south and Confederation Parkway to the east, and the Grand Park Towers to the west.
